Activists from the Istanbul LGBTT Solidarity Association organized a protest on the Bosphorus Bridge in order to draw attention to the hate murders of trans people, to the impunity afforded to the murderers (#failidevlet), and to the Trans Pride Parade to be held on June 22 [see #transcandır –trans]. (…) Police officers took down the flag that was on the Bridge for about half an hour. (…)
